Based in Dukinfield, part of Greater Manchester, we offer cleaning services with an emphasis on using only plant based, biodegradable, hypo-allergenic products. The Company Director has a Level 7 Diploma in Cleaning, and we are fully insured through the Domestic Cleaning Alliance. Established in 2018, we have a wealth of experience.
We are passionate about providing an excellent level of service to our clients, whilst ensuring our business is run in an ethical manner to lessen our impact on the health of people, animals and the environment. We only use 100% plant based products. All of the cleaning products we use:
are hypo-allergenic
contain no bleach or chlorine
are safer for the environment, children and pets
are not tested on animals and approved by the vegan society
It's become common over the past couple of decades to use cleaning methods and products that involve toxic chemicals. These chemicals are unhealthy for you, your children, and your pets. Our mission is to encourage a more natural, healthier approach to cleaning. We know that what is important for one person may not be important for someone else so, we will always discuss your requirements and make sure we carry out what is important to you and check in with you on a regular basis to ensure you are happy.
The World Health Organisation lists air pollution as one of the biggest risks to human health. This pollution not only comes in the form of external sources such as car fumes and the like, but from the air inside our own homes and places of work. This is largely down to chemical exposure, which includes cleaning products around the home. Eco-cleaning means using products that contain no harsh chemicals, bleach, phthalates, petroleum-based ingredients or synthetic dyes etc. Compared to non-Eco cleaning, it is safer for everyone, but in particular:
-
Children and babies
-
Those with asthma, allergies and skin sensitivities
-
Pets
All of our products are also biodegradable which means they are biologically broken down once they enter the environment. Using these products means there is less of an impact on your health and the environment, so you can be doing your bit for the environment without doing anything! And importantly for you, they clean just as well as other products that contain nasty chemicals so there is no compromise on quality. Some of the products we use are Dri Pak, Ecover, Method, Ocean Saver. and Stardrops If you have a preference for a particular product to be used then we are happy to do this, as long as it is in line with our ethos. We use reusable shoe covers and rubber gloves; gloves are sterilised on the job by either washing with soap, using rubbing alcohol or using anti-bac sanitiser.
All cloths and mops are reusable, so although there is an element of carbon footprint involved in the washing, using reusables is better for the environment than using single use products that are thrown away and placed into landfill. They are washed on a hygiene setting using pre-wash treatment, with plant-based laundry detergent and vinegar to rinse. The cloths are either dried on the washing line or on a clothes airer, with the dryer is only used when it is necessary. We use bagless vacuum cleaners with HEPA or allergy filters to extract (and retain) the maximum amount of dust, mould, mites, and other allergens from surfaces. This ensures a much healthier clean for our clients. We operate a strict 'Reduce, reuse, recycle' policy, with the emphasis being on reduce and reuse.
