Our green commitment

We are a small business, committed to doing our best to reduce our environmental impact on this beautiful planet we call home.  Although we strive to do our best, there are areas which we know we can improve on. We pledge the following:

We try to limit our carbon footprint by purchasing supplies at local shops.  When this is not possible online orders are completed, with items being ordered in bulk to reduce our carbon footprint.

We use either local companies for our essential products that are committed to ensuring that their staff members are treated fairly and are being recognised for their hard work by receiving a fair wage. If this is not possible we use online companies that are also committed to this, whilst balancing the cost of purchasing items at a similar price to other companies.

The Director's car is fully electric; this means that although it does need to be charged (meaning potentially using fossil fuels), the emissions are zero which is better for both pedestrians and other car drivers lung health.

We do make Charitable donations each month; we have supported various local charities with one off payments and monthly payments  We currently make regular monthly payments to Carbon Neutral Britain and The Woodland Trust.  If anyone is interested in how much we have paid to these organisations (or organisations we have supported in the past) information can be provided on request.  Solving the issue of poverty is the number one goal of the Paris Agreement which is the international treaty on climate change.  This is why we sometimes support charities that are not environmental.  You can find the Paris Agreement goals here: Key aspects of the Paris Agreement | UNFCCC
